Sometimes I get dragged off the sofa for the daftest reasons. Do the dishes, cook my dinner, make me coffee, all that kind of crap 😉 Today however was worth it for this Magpie moth, Latin name Abraxas grossulariata. Very cool little thing that was hanging around the garden and it was nice to be able to put the macro lens to use again. Who said moths were boring? look at the markings on this thing!
He/She’s a beauty. Not what you’d expect from a moth.
