Still hanging on by a thread! 18 weeks photographing a different species on my garden watch every morning with no repetitions, not bad I think considering I thought I’d get around 30 days before I ran out! All of these macro shots are taken on my old Canon 7d and equally old Metz flashgun & 100mm macro. Some are pretty heavily cropped too. Pretty much relying on insect life at the moment as I photographed most of our bird species during the 1st month, there are at least 2 birds that we get as visitors but I’ve yet to pin them down. On the 1st August I was pretty much buzzed by a Sparrowhawk that landed in a tree 20ft away from me, no picture though so had to settle for a bumblebee! Here we go:
