Caddis fly larvae

Pond critters, Caddis fly larvae

I noticed a couple of these Caddis fly larvae walking about in the pond the other day so just had to get them on camera.  They’re fascinating little creatures to watch, nipping off bits of vegetation and sticking it all together to make this conical home for themselves.
