Baby slow worm UK reptiles

This picture was taken at the end of February so I think I can still call it a baby. From research it seems that a baby slow worm will be born around September or October in the UK, making this little one 4 or 5 months old.

We found it hiding in the warmth of our greenhouse, as an adult a slow worm will grown up to 50cm and live for 20 years. We regularly see them during the spring & summer, happy in the knowledge that they eat slugs. If you look close you can even see a green aphid, maybe a small snack for later?
